A Word of Welcome
I planted Shoal Creek Community Church in 1992 with my wife, Candy, and four others who believed the attractional church and the disciple-making movement didn't have to compete. Three decades later, more than a thousand people have found their way through our doors.
What you'll find here isn't a program to run. It's the two engines I've spent my life learning to run together: a Come gathering that welcomes people exactly as they are, and a Go track where ordinary believers practice six reproducible habits until disciple-making becomes second nature. Neither engine apologizes for the other.

About Roy
Roy Moran
The Hybrid Church Pioneer
In 1992, Roy, his wife Candy, and a group of four others started Shoal Creek Community Church, where Roy currently serves as the directional leader and spiritual literacy advocate. Over the last 19 years, Shoal Creek has grown to over a 1000 people through reaching folks who are not used to going to church.
Roy has pioneered the concept of the ‘Hybrid Church,’ which finds the synergy between the traditional ‘attractional’ strategy and the principles found in Disciple Making Movements. Roy serves as the Global Platform Team Leader, advocating for systemic change across global ministry networks.
